The Steps for SOS 5K "Homecoming" Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 5th at TRADEWINDS PARK in Coconut Creek.   Don’t forget to post pictures of you and your team doing your 5K! Be a part of our social media movement and tag us in your pictures using the hashtag #stepsforsos on Facebook and/or Instagram or send your photos to dseay@sosflorida.com.

Registration is FREE for walkers and $25 for runners!

 

This year's event is going to be held at Tradewinds Park - 3600 W Sample Road Coconut Creek, FL 33073.

The Steps for SOS 5K Run/Walk event is open to everyone! Household participation is encouraged (SOS community ambassador, neighbors, siblings, parents/guardians, strollers, pets, etc.). Make sure to invite friends and family to join your team!

Most participants will finish the course by 9:00 am. Everyone is invited to stick around for festivities, breakfast, awards, and our closing ceremony.

Registration will begin at 7:00 AM! Stay on the look out for the email with day of event details.

Steps for SOS 5k Run/Walk will take place rain or shine.

Your money helps SOS Children's Villages fulfill our promise of healing, hope and home to the 72 foster children growing up in our Village in Coconut Creek and the 190 or so alumni we continue to help in South Florida.

We have a suggested $100 fundraising goal. This is not a requirement, but we encourage all of our runners and walkers to ask their friends to support the steps they make on behalf of our kids. Participants who raise $100 or more will receive a special event t-shirt.

Participants who raise $500 or more are our SOS CHAMPIONS and will receive exclusive benefits and incentive opportunities during the campaign.

Easy! When registering for the event, make sure you make a personal fundraising page. Copy your fundraising page URL and post on social media, send emails, or text your network of friends, coworkers and family for support! For more fundraising ideas, visit our resources page.
